Off with her Head!

The Tudor period was not an easy time to live in - particularly if you were one of King Henry VIII's wives! Following on from our brilliant Terrible Tudors trip, children will be learning about life in Tudor England; in the King's court and learning about the great love affair of Henry and Anne Boleyn.

Year 5 and 6 will be sharing their learning journey this term and will be working together to learn more about the Tudor Dynasty. Please see the attached documents for more information about what children will be learning this term.

It's Playtime!

Our school production is fast approaching and this year we are using the Tudor-born playwright, William Shakespeare as our inspiration. The children will be performing the musical, Dream On which is based on A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Please help your children to learn their song words and their lines as this is an important lifeskill and really helps to build children's self-esteem!

Update: Our production was a huge success! The children all worked extremely hard and acted very professionally on their performance nights. Well done Upper Key Stage Two!
