St Mary’s Forest School Vision
At St Mary’s Catholic Primary School we ‘Pray Learn Love and Enjoy’.
We hold the needs of the whole child at the heart of all we do. We aim to nurture and develop each child’s spiritual, sporting, musical, social, moral and emotional skills and talents.
At St Mary’s Forest School, we want our children to grow in confidence, independence and empathy for each other and the natural world as they explore, imagine, experience, work together, try new activities, manage risk and learn new skills.
They are accompanied on their Forest School journey by trusted, trained adults who understand that child-initiated play within a secure environment is vital to become reflective, resilient, collaborative, independent and creative citizens of the future.
