Stone Age Day
At the end of Term 1, to celebrate our learning of the Stone Age, Year 3 travelled back in time to 3000BC for a very special curriculum day. The children took part in a variety of activities including puzzles to reflect on their knoweldge, creating suitable Stone Age clothes, a now press play emersive drama story, some exploration and creative play in forest school, clay pot making and some research into which plants would have been gathered and why.
Here's what the children had to say:
This was the best day ever!!
I loved EVERYTHING, especially dressing up in Stone Age clothes and making clay pots!
I loved being in the forest!
