  • Year 3 School trip to Wakehurst Place

    Fri 19 Apr 2024

Year 3 have had a fabulous day today at Wakehurst as part of their science curriculum.  They dissected plants and looked at them up close under the microscopes, then they went for a walk around the gardens to look at pollinators in action.

After an ice-cream treat at lunch (thanks to our cake sale money) we created some art with natural materials to represent the flowers and pollinators.  Each group took it in turn to talk about what they had learnt the features they had included in their plant.

Many thanks to our parent volunteers for accompanying us on our day!
