Term 5

Cycles

Much of what we will cover over the course of this term is related to growing. As well as exploring the life cycles of amphibians, insects and birds, we will also be looking at what happens to humans as they grow up.

Did you know?

  • A life cycle is defined as the complete succession of changes undergone by an organism during its life. A new cycle occurs when an identical set of changes is begun.
  • -Groundwater or water stored in the Earth's surface can remain there for thousands of years before moving.
  • Avocados, tomatoes and pumpkins are actually fruits, not vegetables, because they contain seeds. Rhubarb, on the other hand, is a vegetable!
