This term we are gearing up for our SATs assessments, which begin Monday 13th May. 

The assessments will run as follows:

Monday 13th - Grammar and Punctuation Paper- 45 minutes; Spelling paper- approx. 20 minutes

Tuesday 14th- Reading Comprehension Paper- 60 minutes

Wednesday 15th- Arithmetic Paper- 30 minutes; Reasoning Paper 1- 40 minutes

Thursday 16th- Reasoning Paper 2- 40 minutes

We will be running a breakfast club for the children to come to school before the start of the school day, to help them get settled and relax before the start of the assessments. Details of this will be sent home soon. 

We will also be doing lots of exciting writing this term. The children will be given the opportunity to write for a range of different purposes and audiences, showing off all that they have learnt in KS2.
