Welcome to Term 4!

This term, we have an exciting array of subjects that will enhance our learning and exploration. 

Religious Education (RE): We will be continuing with the new Religious Education Directory, making links to the Old and New Testament, our topic this term is: Deserts to Gardens.  As before, we will be study scripture and thinking philosophically about its impact in the past and on our lives today.  We start this term thinking about Lent. 

Mathematics: Our focus will be on calculating factors, multiples, and prime numbers. Additionally, we will dive into volume calculations and work with decimal fractions to strengthen our number skills.

English: Students will engage with the engaging narrative of Robot Girl, analyzing themes and characters while developing their critical thinking and writing skills.

Science: In our Science lessons, we will investigate the concept of forces, understanding how they interact in our everyday world.

Geography: We will discuss the significance of mountains, examining their ecological importance and cultural relevance. We will commence this with comparing mountains on earth and on Mars!

Music: In Music, we will focus on building grooves, exploring beat, rhythm, bass lines, and riffs, fostering creativity and collaboration. 

RSHE (Relationships, Sex, and Health Education): We will enhance our understanding of personal relationships and religious insights, promoting respect and empathy.

Physical Education (PE): This term, we will play handball, developing teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship.
