The children in Year 2 had a fantastic Polar Express day on Thursday! First, we read some of the book and highlighted key words in pairs. After that, they enjoyed making a golden train ticket and spent time writing the first part of the story, imagining that a steam train had arrived on their front garden on Christmas Eve. It was then time for the train journey! We drank hot chocolate, ate biscuits and snuggled down in our pyjamas to watch some more of the film.
