Visit from Deacon Mike

Deacon Mike visited us all here at St Mary's. He shared with us all his experiences when becoming a Deacon at the end of last term. The children were very excited to hear what this was like for Deacon Mike and asked interesting questions to find out what it felt like for him during his ordination and what his role entails now that he is a Deacon.
Year 3 Rugby

Year 3 enjoyed their first PE lesson of the new school year. This term they are learning about invasion games, starting with some rugby skills! Rugby is a challenging sport as it involves passing the ball across your body and backwards - this proved tricky for lots, but they persevered and rose to the challenge! Well done Year 3!

Please make sure full PE kits are in school, including a change of shoes. As the weather turns cooler we will continue lessons outside, so please make sure your child has jogging bottoms (black or navy please) and a jacket with them.
