Year 2's liturgy - St. Francis de Sales
Fri 30 Jan 2026Year Two’s assembly on St. Francis de Sales was a joyful reminder to "Be who we are and be that well". Through clear and confident voices, thoughtful readings and energetic singing, the children showed how kindness, patience, and gentle courage can shape everyday life. Their smiles and teamwork lit up the hall, making the message feel real and reachable for everyone watching. Each child spoke with pride, proving that small voices can share big wisdom. It was a beautiful celebration of character, faith, and the power of young people teaching us.

Year 3 & 4 attend Mass
Tue 27 Jan 2026On Tuesday, Lower KS2 attended Mass celebrated by Father Gus and Deacon Mike. This was a valuable opportunity for the children to deepen their understanding of the parts of the Mass and to show reverence and respect for God. Following the service, Deacon Mike visited the classes to speak about his role as a Deacon and to answer the children’s thoughtful questions about the Church, the Mass, and his vocation.

Wed 14 Jan 2026Year 2 had an unforgettable Pirate Day filled with adventure and imagination. The children arrived ready to sail the seven seas, talking like pirates and working as a crew. They buried treasure in the school and followed carefully drawn maps to find it again. Everyone enjoyed making their own telescopes and scanning the horizon for distant islands. A magical highlight was meeting a friendly mermaid, who shared a wonderful pirate story that captured everyone’s attention. Laughter, teamwork, and creativity were everywhere, making the day exciting, memorable, and full of learning through play from morning to afternoon for all children involved.
